Redefining the Purpose for Which a Reservation is Made

Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purpose of the land described in the Schedule hereto which was set apart as a Maori reservation by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 19 December 1962, No. 81, page 2257, is hereby redefined in terms of the persons or class of persons for whose use or benefit
the reservation is made by replacing the members and adherents of "The Absolute Established Maori Church of Aotearoa, Te Waipounamu, Wharekauri (Incorporated)" to the members and adherents of the Absolute Established Maori Church of Aotearoa, Te Waipounamu, Wharekauri (Incorporated) and the descendants of the original landowners who were Te Aka (Henry) Rapana, Robert Paul, George Waru, Nathan Roa, Jack (Hone) Edwards, Walter Edwards, Henry Rapana Tito, Bill Poro, Ted Edwards, Hone Eru Manuhuia (John Edwards), Piri Te Whata and Kepa Wati Tito.
