Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand
has been pleased to appoint
Laurence Grant Powell, barrister of Auckland
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, commencing
on 2 September 2013.
