Pursuant to Regulation 24(5) of the Health and Safety in Employment (Petroleum Exploration and Extraction) Regulations 1999 ("Regulations"), I, Brett Murray, on delegated authority from the Chief Executive, Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, hereby give notice that I am satisfied that Det Norske Veritas (NZ) Limited meets the criteria set out in Regulation 24(1) of the Regulations for recognition as an inspection body for the carrying out of inspections and the issuing of certificates of fitness in accordance with Regulation 25 of the Regulations.
This recognition is granted subject to the conditions set out at Regulation 24(2)(a) and (b) of the Regulations.
Pursuant to Regulation 24(2)(c) of the Regulations, this recognition is subject to the following additional conditions:
1. Inspections may be carried out, and certificates issued, only with respect to the matters specified
in the Schedule to the Certificate of Accreditation issued to Det Norske Veritas (NZ) Limited by International Accreditation New Zealand, dated
28 December 2012.
2. Inspections may be carried out by, or under the supervision of, the persons named in the Schedule to
the Certificate of Accreditation issued to Det Norske Veritas (NZ) Limited by International Accreditation New Zealand, dated 28 December 2012.
