Pursuant to section 238F of the Education Act 1989 and clauses 30.3 and 31.5 of the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students (Revised 2010)* ("the Code"), I make the following notifications:
1. Transfer of Administrator - The administration of the Code is transferred from the current Administrator,
the Ministry of Education, to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
2. Amendment to the Code - The definition of Administrator on page 2 of the Code is amended by deleting
"The Ministry of Education"
and inserting
"The New Zealand Qualifications Authority".
This transfer and amendment takes effect on 1 August 2013.
