I hereby give notice that, under section 75 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Animal Welfare (Llamas and Alpacas) Code of Welfare 2013 will be issued on 26 April 2013, being the date it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette, and comes into effect on 29 April 2013.
The code of welfare is available for inspection free of charge and for purchase at the following address:
