Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On the 19th day of March 2013, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave a tax indemnity to the trustees of
Te Runanga o Te Rarawa as described under Part 2 of the General Matters Schedule of the Deed of Settlement for Te Rarawa signed on 28 October 2012 and which is to apply from the date of such signing (namely 28 October 2012)."
