Notice of Intention to Incorporate Material by Reference - Proposed Import Health Standards for Plants, Plant Products and Inanimate Pathways, and Craft Risk Management Standards for Craft (Notice No. MPI 140)

Peter Thomson, Director Plants, Food and Environment of the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MPI, gives notice under section 142N(4) of the Biosecurity Act 1993 ("the Act") that, under section 142M of the Act, some or all of the following material, in whole or in part, is proposed for incorporation
by reference in one or more import health standards for Plants, Plant Products and Inanimate Pathways developed under sections 22-24D of the Act, and one or more craft risk management standards for Craft developed under sections 24E-24I of the Act:

Any written comment must be received by the Ministry for Primary Industries no later than 20 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Consultation on this proposal to incorporate material by reference is in addition to the usual process of Consultation on the Draft Import Health Standards under sections 22-24D of the Act and Consultation on the Draft Craft Risk Management Standard under section 24F of the Act.
