Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Pharmacy Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been provisionally recognised from the date of this notice until 31 December 2014 to set standards at Levels 1-8
on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the pharmacy industry in the areas of the dispensing and preparation of pharmaceutical products, the provision of advice on illness preparation, and the selection and sale
of non-prescription medicines, therapies, diagnostic and therapeutic aids in the pharmacy setting.
