Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated as an Industry Training Organisation has been granted an extension of coverage for five years from
28 December 2013 to 27 December 2018 to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the automotive re-glazing, glass and glazing, joinery, architectural aluminium joinery, kitchen and bathroom design and manufacturing, and interior design industries and an extension of coverage for five years from 1 January 2014 to 31 December 2018 to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the flooring
and painting and paperhanging (painting and decorating) industries.
