Pursuant to section 45 of the Maritime Security Act 2004,
I, Keith Manch, Chief Executive of Maritime New Zealand, hereby designate the following area on Queens Wharf, Auckland, as a port security area:
- All that area of land and wharf when within the fenced and sign-posted area on the western boundary of Queens Wharf, including the entire berthing area and internal buildings of the adjacent passenger terminal commonly known as "The Cloud".
This designation comes into force on the day after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
