Pursuant to section 4(4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Thames Valley Rural Fire District Notice 2000, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read with and deemed part of the notice constituting the Thames Valley Rural Fire District Notice 2000* made on the 7th day of September 2000 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
(2) This notice comes into force on 30 July 2013.
2. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice-The principal notice is hereby amended by deleting the Schedule and inserting a new Schedule as follows:
"South Auckland Land District
(a) All those parcels containing 383,600 hectares, more or less, as shown on SO 61436 lodged in
the office of the Chief Surveyor, Hamilton but excluding all "fire districts" as defined in section
2 of the Fire Service Act 1975.
(b) The area known as the Kaiaua Block being a coastal strip of land on the west side of the Firth
of Thames, part of the Territorial area of Hauraki District Council. The land parcel comprises 8,115 hectares, more or less, as defined by map reference: LGC-Hk-D1 but excluding all "fire districts" as defined in section 2 of the Fire Service Act 1975.
(c) The boundaries are more particularly delineated on those plans NRFA 0715 entitled Thames Valley Rural Fire District, deposited in the National Office of the New Zealand Fire Service at Wellington."
