Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Protection Authority hereby determines that
Organisms arising from the use of Zinc-Finger Nuclease type 1 (ZFN-1) or Transcription Activator-Like Effector proteins
are not genetically modified organisms, and therefore are not new organisms.
