Pursuant to sections 63 and 77(1) of the Ngati Makino Claims Settlement Act 2012 ("the Settlement Act 2012"), the
New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of a discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) name.
The Schedule below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA name; its generic term; its description; and former New Zealand Gazette.
The discontinued CPA names took effect on 1 August 2012, being the date that the Settlement Act 2012 came into effect.
