In exercise of the powers conferred on the Gisborne District Council by a delegation under the Reserves Act 1977,
the Chief Executive of the Gisborne District Council notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Gisborne District Council on 10 July 1996:
"Council resolve pursuant to Section 14 of the
Reserves Act 1977 to declare the following land
known as Waikirikiri Reserve to be reserve within
the meaning of the Reserves Act 1977
Sec 17 Blk VII Turanganui Survey District SO 7574
Sec 16 Blk VII Turanganui Survey District SO 7574
The land be classified a recreation reserve pursuant to Section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977."
The land is more particularly described in the Schedule.
