Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council resolved on 15 August 2011 that, in exercise of
the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977:
(a) Pursuant to section 14, the Tauranga City Council declares the land described in the First Schedule shall be held for recreation reserve.
(b) Pursuant to sections 16 and 52, the Tauranga City Council declares the land described in the Second Schedule and known as Grenada Park be classified recreation reserve and shall hereafter be known as Arataki Park.
