Maori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of
a conservation reserve and wahi tapu site for the common use and benefit of the Coop family (Fernlee Trust) and those who whakapapa to Koukourarata, and is to be known as the Kakanui Maori Reservation.
