Pursuant to section 186(1) of the Resource Management Act 1991 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Natasha Pollard, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, the Minister being satisfied that the requirements of sections 20(1)(a) and (b) of the Public Works Act 1981 are met, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for use for or in relation to the distribution of electricity and the operation of an electricity distribution network and vested in Orion New Zealand Limited on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to section 3 of the Petroleum Act 1937, section 8 of the Atomic Energy Act 1945, section 3 of the Geothermal Energy Act 1953, sections 6 and 8 of the Mining Act 1971, section 5 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, section 261 of the Coal Mines Act 1979, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987.
