Declaration That Land is a Cemetery Reserve and Naming the Mangapouri Cemetery

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that a resolution to the following effect was passed by the council on 12 April 2011 and 14 December 2011:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in
fee simple for cemetery purposes described in the First Schedule and that piece of land held by the said
district in an estate of fee simple described in the Second Schedule, shall be and the same is hereby declared to be gazetted a local purpose (cemetery) reserve and pursuant to Section 16(2) of the said Act,
is deemed to be classified for that purpose, and further pursuant to the statutory powers contained in Section 16(10) of the Act, declares the said reserve to be named, the Mangapouri Cemetery, held subject to
the Burial and Cremation Act 1964."
