Pursuant to section 82 of the Ngati Porou Claims Settlement Act 2012 ("the Settlement Act 2012"), the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("Board") hereby gives notice of discontinued Crown Protected Area (CPA) names.
The Schedule below specifies the details of the discontinued CPA names; their generic terms; their descriptions; and their former Gazettes.
The discontinued CPA names took effect on 8 May 2012, being the date that the Settlement Act 2012 came into effect.
