Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the New Plymouth District Council hereby notifies that a resolution to the following effect was passed by the council on 12 April 2011:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and acting under an instrument of delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the said district in an estate in fee simple and described in the Schedule shall be and the same is hereby declared to be gazetted a local purpose (cemetery) reserve to form part of the Inglewood cemetery reserve and pursuant to Section 16(2) is deemed to be classified for that purpose within the meaning of the Act, and held subject to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964"
