Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation vests the reserve described in the Schedule in the Manawatu-Wanganui Regional Council in trust for scenic purposes, under section 19(1)(a) of the Act, providing the Crown reserves the right to
cancel the vesting of the reserve, in whole or in part, if or when the reserve is required for Treaty of Waitangi settlement purposes.
