Pursuant to Regulation 12 of the National Animal Identification and Tracing (Levies) Regulations 2012, notice is hereby given that:
(a) commencing 1 July 2012, the rates of slaughter, tag, and impracticable to tag levies (exclusive of GST) for cattle shall be:
(i) slaughter levy - $1.35 per animal;
(ii) tag levy - $1.10 per NAIT device;
(iii) impracticable to tag - $13.00 per animal; and
(b) commencing 1 March 2013, the rate of the impracticable to tag levy (exclusive of GST) for
deer shall be $13.00 per animal.
