Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On the 13th day of December 2012, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave a tax indemnity to the trustees of
the Toa Rangatira Trust as described under Part 2 of the General Matters Schedule of the Deed of Settlement for Ngati Toa Rangatira signed on 7 December 2012 and which is to apply from the date of such signing (namely 7 December 2012)."
