Pursuant to section 4(2) of the District Courts Act 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General has appointed, with effect from 1 March 2013, the Hutt Valley* as a place
in which a District Court may be held for the exercise
of summary criminal jurisdiction under the Summary Proceedings Act 1957.
