Pursuant to section 65ZD(3) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On 2 August 2012, I, The Honourable Simon William English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave a guarantee and indemnity to the ANZ National Bank Limited in respect of the Guaranteed Indebtedness for a fleet of four B200 aircraft to be provided by ANZ National Bank Limited and Hawker Pacific NZ Ltd to the New Zealand Defence Force for a period of five years for the Royal New Zealand Air Force Interim Advanced Pilot Training Capability."
