Notice is given that the Acting Minister of Labour has approved the revocation of the fourth edition of the Approved Code of Practice for Load-Lifting Rigging pursuant to section 20(1)(b) of the Health and Safety
in Employment Act 1992.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has consulted with members of the rigging industry and the public regarding the revocation of this code.
The reason for the revocation is that this edition will be replaced by the fifth edition of the Approved Code of Practice for Load-Lifting Rigging.
The fourth edition of the approved code of practice will be revoked on 21 May 2013.
