Pursuant to sections 650I(2)(c) and 684B of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government makes the following bylaw.

1. Title-This bylaw is the Lake Taupo Navigation Safety Amendment Bylaw 2012.
2. Commencement-This bylaw comes into force
on 27 July 2012.
3. Principal bylaw-This bylaw amends the Lake Taupo Navigation Safety Bylaw 2010*.
4. Schedule 1 amended-Replace the item "Annual fee" with:
Annual fee $190.00
Monthly fee $50.00

Explanatory Note
This note is not part of the bylaw, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
In relation to mooring at Crown-owned facilities in Lake Taupo, this bylaw-
- increases the annual fee; and
- provides a new monthly fee.
The bylaw comes into force on 27 July 2012.
