Corrigendum-Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Notice (No. 2) 2007 (No. F397)

In the notice with the above heading, dated the 12th day
of March 2007 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 March 2007, No. 30, page 791, please replace the following text from clause 3(a):
"an area/rohe moana described by a line commencing
at a point on the coastline at Paritu (38°57.0'S and 177°54.2'E), then due east for 200 nautical miles to a point (38°57.0'S and 177°25.0'W), then due south
to a point (43°15.0'S and 177°25.0'W), then 45°
north-west to a point (39°18.6'S and 177°45.0'E), then due north to a point (39°13.3'S and 177°44.9'E),
then generally north-easterly to a point on the coastline
at Waikokopu (39°04.4'S and 177°49.6'E), then generally northerly along the mean high-water springs mark to the point of commencement."
with:
"an area/rohe moana described by all those waters enclosed by a line:
(i) commencing at a point on the mean high water mark (MHWM) at Paritu (at 38°57.00'S and 177°54.18’E); then
(ii) proceeding due east for 200 nautical miles to a point on the EEZ boundary (at 38°57.00'S and 177°26.78’W); then
(iii) proceeding in a south-westerly and then easterly direction along the EEZ boundary to a point
on the EEZ boundary (at 40°16.05'S and 177°25.00'W); then
(iv) proceeding due south to a point offshore
(at 43°15.00'S and 177°25.00'W); then
(v) proceeding in a north-westerly direction to a point offshore (at 39°18.60'S and 177°45.00'E); then
(vi) proceeding due north to a point offshore
(at 39°13.30'S and 177°45.00'E); then
(vii) proceeding in a north-easterly direction to
a point on the MHWM at Waikokopu
(at 39°04.40'S and 177°49.60'E); then
(viii) proceeding along the MHWM of Mahia Peninsula in a generally southerly and then northerly direction to the point of commencement."
And, in the same notice, please replace the following text from clause 3(b):
"an area/rohe moana described by a line commencing at a point on the coastline at Hekerangi Point (39°14.0'S and 177°50.8'E), then due west for two nautical miles to a point (39°14.0'S and 177°48.6'W), then following a line two nautical miles from the coastline around Mahia Peninsula and Portland Island to a point (39°14.0'S and 177°57.0'E), then due west for two nautical miles to a point on the coastline (39°14.0'S and 177°54.0'E), then generally southerly and northerly along the mean
high-water springs mark to the point of commencement."
with:
"an area/rohe moana described by all those waters enclosed by a line:
(i) commencing at a point on the mean high water mark (MHWM) at Hekerangi Point (at 39°14.04'S and 177°50.82'E); then
(ii) proceeding due west for approximately 2 nautical miles to a point offshore (at 39°14.04'S and 177°48.15'E); then
(iii) proceeding in a generally southerly and then northerly direction along a line every point of which is 2 nautical miles from the MHWM to a point offshore (at 39°14.04'S and 177°57.02'E); then
(iv) proceeding due west for approximately 2 nautical miles to a point on the MHWM (at 39°14.04'S and 177°53.86'E); then
(v) proceeding along the MHWM in a generally southerly and then northerly direction to the point of commencement."
