Pursuant to section 9(3) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 and section 28(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has appointed
Dr Stephen John Gale, of Wellington
as Telecommunications Commissioner and member of the Commerce Commission, for a five-year term commencing on 12 July 2012 and expiring on 11 July 2017.
