Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been granted with effect from 5 January 2013 to 5 January 2018, to set standards at Levels 1-8 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for the building and construction, fibrous plastering, solid plastering, tiling, cement and concrete, architectural technology, quantity surveying and construction technology, blocklaying, bricklaying, masonry, monumental masonry and stonemasonry industries.
