Notice of Exemption from Maritime Rules: 21.13(1)(b); 24B.10(2)(a); 31B.9(1)(b); 31B.14(1)(a), Table 6; 32.9(3); 40A, Appendix 7, Note 2; 40A.17(1); 40A.19(1), Table 40A.2; 40A.21(1)(a); 40A.33(2)(e); 40A.55(1), Appendix 3.3; 40D.37(1), Appendix 1; 46.24(3); 47.65(2); 47.8(2)(a)

Pursuant to section 47(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, the Director of Maritime New Zealand hereby notifies the granting of the following exemptions:
- 6 from Maritime Rule 21.13(1)(b) - Safe Ship Management Systems - Entry to and conditions to be met in order for ship to remain in Safe Ship Management System - New Zealand Safe Ship Management Certificate issued by Director
- 2 from Maritime Rule 24B.10(2)(a) - Carriage of Cargoes - Stowage and Securing - Shipper of a road freight vehicle, road tank vehicle, or road livestock vehicle must not offer the vehicle for shipment on a ro-ro ship to which rule 24B.14 applies unless it is fitted with vehicle securing points in accordance with Part 2 of NZS 5444:2005
- 1 from Maritime Rule 31B.9(1)(b) - Crewing and Watchkeeping. Offshore Coastal and Restricted (Non-Fishing Vessel) - Passenger vessels - Inshore area - Passenger vessels operating within the inshore area must carry at least the minimum crew specified in Table 2
- 1 from Maritime Rule 31B.14(1)(a), Table 6 - Crewing and Watchkeeping. Offshore Coastal and Restricted (Non-Fishing Vessel) - Non-passenger vessels - Inshore area - Seafarers holding the minimum required qualifications specified in Table 6 for non-passenger vessel operating within the inshore limits set out in Appendix 1 of Part 20
- 1 from Maritime Rule 32.9(3) - Ships’ Personnel - Qualifications - Combined skipper/engineer certificates - Local Launch Operator (LLO) - Endorse LLO certificate up to five additional vessels or areas

not SOLAS Ships - Anchors and Cables - Above the underlined figures in Table 2, one anchor is required, below
