Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Western Bay of Plenty District Council resolved on 15 September 2008 that, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation, under the Reserves Act 1977, the Western Bay of Plenty District Council declares the land described in the Schedule hereto be held for local purpose (esplanade) reserve subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act 1977.
