Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation cancels the vesting in the Warkworth Agricultural and Pastoral Society of the recreation reserve described in the Schedule and vests the reserve in the Auckland Council, in trust, for recreation purposes, subject to reserving the right to cancel the vesting should the reserve be required for redress of a claim made against the Crown pursuant to the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975.
