Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes
the reservation as recreation reserves over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Whakatane District Council in such manner, at a price and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from the sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
