Pursuant to section 66 of the Waikato-Tainui Raupatu Claims (Waikato River) Settlement Act 2010 ("the Settlement Act 2010"), the New Zealand Geographic Board Nga Pou Taunaha o Aotearoa ("the Board") hereby gives notice that the officially named Crown Protected Areas (CPA), now vested in the Waikato Raupatu River Trust and classified as a local purpose reserve, are no longer CPAs and are hereby discontinued.
The Schedule below specifies the discontinued CPA names; their generic terms; their descriptions; their map and grid references; and their former New Zealand Gazettes.
The CPA names were discontinued on 24 September 2010, being the date that the Settlement Act 2010 came into force.
