Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court that the Paikea-Whitireia Maori Reservation be set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 July 1972, No. 61, page 1591, and described in the Schedule hereto and the purpose of the reservation is redefined to be for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Konohi Hapu of the Te Aitanga-a-Hauiti and Ngati Porou tribes.
