Whereas by notices published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 May 1959, No. 27, page 614, and New Zealand
Gazette, 14 March 1994, No. 31, page 1284, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto were set apart as Maori reservations for the purpose of a burial ground for
the descendants of Wi Parata, and whereas it is now desired to exclude land from the Maori reservation being the areas described in the Second Schedule hereto, now therefore, pursuant to section 338(5)(a) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Maori Land Court, the areas described in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby excluded from the Maori reservation known as Ruakohatu Urupaa Reservation.
