Pursuant to section 8 of the Insurance Companies (Ratings and Inspections) Act 1994, Ansvar Insurance Limited gives notice that on Thursday 28 September 2011, A.M. Best Company downgraded its financial strength rating from
"A-"(Excellent) to "B++" (Good).
A.M. Best Company has placed its rating under review with negative implications reflecting the levels of reinsurance recoverables following successive Christchurch earthquakes.
