Horticulture New Zealand advises that a remit was passed unanimously at the Fresh Tomato Product Group annual general meeting on 27 July 2011, to reduce the fresh tomato levy rate from 0.45% to 0.40%.
This new rate will be for the period commencing 1 October 2011 and ending on 30 September 2012, in accordance
with clause 12(2)(b) of the Commodity Levies (Vegetables and Fruit) Order 2007.
