Osteopathic Council (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice 2011

Pursuant to Part 6, sections 130 and 131 of the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003, the following notice
is given.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the Osteopathic Council (Fees and Disciplinary Levy) Notice 2011.
(2) This notice comes into force on 4 March 2011 and applies to fees and disciplinary levy payable in respect of applications relating to the period on and after 1 April 2011.
(3) This notice revokes all previous Osteopathic Council notices.
2. Fees and Disciplinary Levy-The Osteopathic Council sets the following fees and disciplinary levy, payable to the council, specified in the attached Schedule.
3. Tax-The fees and disciplinary levy are inclusive of goods and services tax.

Osteopath Scope of Practice
Application for an annual practising certificate if practising for:
- Full year Fee $1,092.50 plus disciplinary levy $172.50 1,265.00
- October to March Fee $546.25 plus disciplinary levy $172.50 718.75
- January to March Fee $273.13 plus disciplinary levy $172.50 445.63
- 3-month locum only Fee $273.13 plus disciplinary levy $172.50 445.63
Application for registration 690.00
Registration re-establishment (after removal) 690.00
Assessment of overseas candidates for registration (includes $250.00 non-refundable component if an
assessment of an applicant does not permit the applicant to proceed to registration) 4,600.00
Application for review of assessment 1,150.00
Inactive registrant’s annual fee 172.50
Processing inactive registrant’s CPD return 172.50
Western Medical Acupuncture and Related Needling Techniques Scope of Practice
Application for registration (must be registered in Osteopath Scope of Practice) 172.50
Application for an annual practising certificate if practising for:
- Full year 345.00
- October to March 172.50
- January to March 86.25
- 3-month locum only 86.25
