Pursuant to section 139AJ(4)(a) of the Education Act 1989, the New Zealand Teachers Council’s Election Rules have been changed as follows:
- Extraordinary elections to fill vacancies; and
- Rule 5(3) is amended by omitting
"120"
and substituting
"180".

These rules come into force on 1 July 2011.
