Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Cataldo Miccio, declare that a state of local emergency existing in Nelson City; and the Richmond and Golden Bay Wards of Tasman District,
is extended owing to the consequences of the flood of 14 December 2011.
This state of local emergency comes into force at 12.00 midnight on Tuesday 20 December 2011.
This state of local emergency expires with the commencement of the seventh day after the date on which this declaration is made.
