Pursuant to sections 41(1) and 42 of the State Sector Act 1988, and to a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 6 November 2007, I give notice that Martin Matthews, Secretary for Transport in the Ministry of Transport, has:
(a) pursuant to section 87X of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, varied the open aviation market licence issued to Pacific Blue Airlines (NZ) Limited to reflect the change in name of that airline to Virgin Australia Airlines (NZ) Limited with effect from 7 December 2011;
(b) pursuant to section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, varied the scheduled international air service licence issued to Pacific Blue Airlines (Aust) Pty Ltd to reflect the change in name of that airline to Virgin Australia Airlines (SE Asia) Pty Ltd with effect from 7 December 2011;
(c) pursuant to section 87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, varied the scheduled international air service licence issued to Virgin Blue International Airlines Pty Ltd (trading as V Australia) to reflect the change in name of that airline to Virgin Australia International Airlines Pty Ltd with effect from
7 December 2011; and
(d) pursuant to section 87X of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, varied the open aviation market licence issued to Polynesian Blue Limited to reflect the change in name of that airline to Virgin Samoa Ltd with effect from 7 December 2011.
