Pursuant to section 105A of the Education Act 1989
("the Act"), I approve the following constitution for the Board of Trustees of Hokitika School:
- Five elected parent representatives;
- a staff representative;
- the principal of the school;
- one member appointed by Te Runaka o Makaawhio Incorporated;
- one member appointed by Ngati Waewae Incorporated; and
- up to two members co-opted by the board of trustees.
The constitution will operate as if sections 96, 97, 99, 101, 102, 104 and 105 of the Act apply where relevant.
This notice takes effect the day of its publication.
