After considering the report and recommendations from consultation on the draft New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy, pursuant to section 17(2)(c)
of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act 2000,
the Acting Minister of Energy and Resources gives the following notice:
- On 30 August 2011, the New Zealand Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy 2011-2016 was released by the Acting Minister of Energy and Resources.
- This is New Zealand’s third national Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy.
- Formal submissions contributed to the final strategy.
- The aim of the strategy is to promote energy efficiency, conservation and renewable energy.
