Pursuant to section 153(1)(b) of the Education Act 1989,
I hereby declare that Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Pukemiro will become a Year 1-13 composite wharekura on 27 January 2012 and cease to be a Year 1-8 primary kura on that day.
The wharekura will enrol students in stages as follows:
Year 1-9 students in 2012.
Year 1-10 students in 2013.
Year 1-11 students in 2014.
Year 1-12 students in 2015.
Year 1-13 students in 2016.
