Pursuant to section 5 of the District Courts Act 1947 and 5(1) of the Family Courts Act 1980, Her Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint
Maureen Jeanette Southwick, QC, barrister of Auckland
to be a District Court Judge, to exercise civil and
criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand, and to exercise the jurisdiction of the Family Courts commencing on
7 October 2011.
