Pursuant to a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 21 July 2011, No. 109, page 3126, Macandrew Intermediate School (3763) and Forbury School (526) will merge on
27 January 2012, with Macandrew Intermediate School being the continuing school.
Pursuant to section 156A of the Education Act 1989, I give notice that I will appoint a board to be the continuing board for the interim period as follows:
Constitution of the Board
1. The Board of Trustees of Macandrew Intermediate School (3763), Dunedin, as the continuing school, will be constituted as follows for the duration of the interim period:
- Up to five trustees appointed by the Minister of Education (one of whom may be designated by
the Minister as Chairperson); and
- the person appointed by the board as the new principal of the school.
Interim Period
2. The interim period will commence on 12 August 2011 and end at the close of the day before the date on which new trustees take office following an election.
This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication.
