I hereby give notice that, under section 75 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, the Animal Welfare (Pigs) Code
of Welfare 2010 will be issued on 2 December 2010 and comes into effect on 3 December 2010.
I also give notice, under section 76 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999 that on 2 December 2010, the Animal
Welfare (Pigs) Code of Welfare 2005 is revoked.
The code of welfare is available for inspection free of charge and for purchase at the following address:
