Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Peter Gerald Butler, declare that a state of local emergency exists in Central Hawke’s Bay District owing to severe storm and flooding damage.
The state of local emergency comes into force immediately on the making of this declaration.
The state of local emergency expires with the commencement of the seventh day after the date on which this declaration is made.
